Get Ready for Changes

I know most of the PEOPLE DON’T LIKE CHANGES. Including me.
Humans tend to go automatic, and we feel comfortable with what we are doing. We always want to be in control of the situation.
We do not like to make changes because we are in our comfort zone. Changing brings discomfort, and may have to deal with uncertainty. Not everyone is outrageous or willing to risk something.
It is not wrong to play safe. However, things may be different if we choose to be mediocre if excellence is an option for us.
I used to feel uncomfortable taking different steps from my predecessors. I prefer to follow the guidelines given, and just to imitate how things are being done. I may be the naysayers to changes that were being suggested, and I may provide "justifications" to myself of why being in the same way will be the best for us.
Nonetheless, I am slowly reminding myself to take away such habits, and also accept the suggestions given. Only analyse the solutions given after it has been implemented. In the past, I did not believe in backing up files in cloud systems and always opted for hardcopies. I am not a fan of working remotely and only believing in working together in a common space.
However, this is no longer the same. My team and I have decided to let go of the formal "belief" and be receptive to new ways and technologies to enable our working system and style to adapt with the new normal.
Things are changing, and the environment is evolving. I am glad that my team has been able to foresee the necessity of the changes, and we are now able to adapt with such transformation in our company. Our company is no longer worried about the need of shutting down the company, and requesting employees to work from home. We have crafted alternative methods of delivery and communication in order to get our work done despite the need to work outside of office.
As such, managing our internal resources will be the way to allow our company to achieve sustainable competitive advantages. The key is to ensure the company is able to compete in the long run regardless of the changes of external influence and factors.
STOP at where we are everytime in our journey.
LOOK at all the ideas, suggestions, and solutions available to us.
CHOOSE the options that will create the best value to us.
VOTE on it.
Move on to what's next for us.
